Please view How this works and Sell my car.

Do I need to ship the vehicle to you to sell?

No, this sales process is entirely remote. We vette our audience to minimize “tire kickers” and will only provide you with the buyer’s information once we’ve validated their interest. You’ll receive pre and post sale consultations - including necessary sales documentation(s) specific to your state and situation, safest transactional methods, and shipping recommendations if applicable.

If you’re local to the Bay Area, CA and would like us to take physical inventory and list your automobile for you, please Contact Us.

What does it cost to sell a car through Symmetry Motorsports Management’s remote consignment?

The initial seller’s fee is $350. This covers the construction of your car-specific listing, hosting the consignment listing for eight weeks, facilitating buyer vetting, correspondence, and a complimentary vehicle history report. The remaining brokerage fee as follows: sum of (i) greater of (a) $1,000 and (b) 2% of final sales price, plus (ii) 10% of the difference between the agreed minimum sale price and the final sales price upon completion of a successful transaction.

How can I have you remotely consign my car?

To submit your car, go to the “Sell” tab in the header. You’ll be asked to fill out an initial remote consignment application providing your contact information and details of your car - such as the make, model, year, VIN, and other relevant details. We’ll reply shortly after via email letting you know if your car fits our criteria. We’ll then ask you to fill out our final remote consignment application with a short detailed set of questions and a photo dropbox so we can ensure the listing is informative and accurate – then, you’ll pay the listing fee and we’re off to the races.

Do I need to ship the vehicle to you to sell?

No, this sales process is entirely remote. We’ll construct your car’s listing according to the information you provide in our initial remote consignment application - all while the car is residing in your garage. When a buyer responds to your listing signaling interest, we’ll only provide you with the buyer’s contact information once we’ve validated their interest. Once contact has been established, it is directly up to you and the buyer to strike a deal - though we’re here to assist in every step along the way.

How long does my listing remain live?

Each remote consignment listing is live and broadcasted until the car is sold, for up to eight weeks.

Who corresponds with the prospective interested parties?

Buyers will submit an inquiry form requesting additional details or contact information - which is sent to us first. We’ll vet them, validate their interest, provide any make or model-specific expertise, and pass their information to you, the seller, to contact them and complete steps towards a successful transaction.

Can I edit my listing once it’s live?

You can’t edit nor construct your listing yourself, but we’ll be in touch throughout the duration of your listing. If you spot something that requires editing, please let us know and we’ll work with you to accurately edit.

Who writes the listing description for my car?

We’ll use the information provided in the consignment applications to write the actual listing description. We won’t go live without your approval, and we do our best to make our listings accurate and direct - focusing on pertinent details to help buyers make informed decisions and minimize dealing with those who aren’t purchasing.
