Of the 14 Individual E36 M3 sedans produced, this was the fifth built and one-of-one specific to this color combination and configuration. Amongst all else, the beauty is in the factory Individual spec: Montreal Blue Metallic ‘Sonderlackierung’ 490 paint, factory-equipped rear spoiler, Karman Kardon, cruise control, Style 24 Motorsport wheels, and heated sport seats with fine wood trim accents. A la carte selection was enabled during the Individual order process, providing the ability to individually option otherwise fixed items — fine wood trim without the luxury package, as an example here. No rust, no corrosion, and all VIN tags are present. All paint is original with the exception of the front bumper, which still remains the original unit. It has minor surface imperfections commensurate with use, but nothing that deters from its overall appearance or functionality. The door handle gaskets, window trim, windshield cowl, front lip, are new and perfect. There are no abnormal interior imperfections – the original seats and seat bolsters are presentable, the dashboard leather is tight without evidence of sagging, the glovebox is intact, the headliner and pillar fabric are newly reupholstered, all OBD functions illuminate, the HVAC system all works without hiccup, and the gauge cluster was refurbished by MSportParts featuring like-new illumination. You will be very hard pressed to find another Individual E36 M3, period – nonetheless with this mileage, maintenance, accompanied by these bespoke NLA modifications.
