This is a largely original example with a few notable exceptions that increase both drivability and desirability tenfold. It has recently undergone extensive maintenance to ensure many mechanical components are either brand new, refurbished, rebuilt, and all in perfect working order. We’ve replaced the following; cooling system, all drivetrain and many suspension components, replaced any/all hoses, gaskets, lines, and sensors in the engine bay and under the intake manifold. This has been a Bay Area, California car since new. No rust, no corrosion, and all VIN tags are present. Everything works; all interior functions, mechanical components, and touts a near-perfect exterior and interior. Cosmetically, the door handle gaskets, window trim, windshield cowl and more have either been safeguarded from the elements or replaced and are perfect. There are no notable imperfections in the interior – the original seats and seat bolsters are in superb shape with minimal wear, the dashboard leather is tight without evidence of sagging, the glovebox is intact, A, B, C pillars and headliner are new and taut, all OBD functions illuminate, and the HVAC system all works without hiccup. The Technoviolet Metallic exterior paint has maintained excellent depth and is free of any scratches or etching where the front end was resprayed to preserve perfection. It was carefully paint corrected and ceramic coated in late 2020 while being cautiously driven and continually garaged. You will be extremely hard pressed to find another Techno Violet over Black E36 M3 in this condition with this mileage, maintenance, accompanied by these choice modifications — nonetheless in this complete, available package.
