Notable Modifications —
This Ti was extensively modified by TC Kline at Tri-Point Engineering in 2000. It subsequently passed inspection by the CA state referee and was rewarded full BAR-legality.

This is a completely rust free, California-garaged example that was very carefully built and beautifully preserved. Please note that it has BMW’s highly desirable and rare aluminum-block M52 rather than the lesser iron-block variant which equates to a 52lb reduction in direct comparison. The motor, entire drivetrain, and all modifications have only 1k miles total, whereas the chassis has 2,400 all-original documented miles. All VIN tags are visible where the exterior paint is in fantastic surviving original finish, along with the aforementioned OE M3 and Clubsport cosmetic components, while showing zero imperfections or blemishes whatsoever. The exterior panels, rubbers, glass are all flawless and original. The interior is perfectly preserved with supple leather, clean carpets, and zero wear throughout. It is in collector-grade quality, both mechanically and cosmetically, and is perfect as-is for collection or sparing weekend use. You will not find a more complete or “newer” E36; this is it.
